FORMED WITH GENERAL BODY MEETING ON 10TH OCTOBER 2020.
NEED OF THIS WING:
- TO BUILD A STRONG CULTURE TOWARDS LOOKING AT A WOMEN COLLEAGUE AND UNITY AMONG THEM.
- TO HELP THEM COME OUT OF FEAR AND NON CONFIDENTIALITY.
- TO RAISE THE VOICE AGAINST INJUSTICE BY ENSURING PUNISHMENT TO AVOID MULTIPLICATION OF SUCH HARASSMENT.
IT IS THE MOST VIBRANT AND THE FIRST SEPARATE UNIT FOR WOMEN, IN THE ENTIRE BANKING INDUSTRY.
ITS FUNCTIONING REVOLVES AROUND BUILDING AN ENVIRONMENT CONDUCIVE TO THE SAFETY OF WOMEN AND RAISING THE VOICE OF THE OPPRESSED THERE BY CREATING A FEARLESS WORKPLACE. WITH THE MOTTO OF WOMEN SAFETY AT WORK PLACE OUR WOMEN WING WILL BE FOR ALL THE LADIES IN BANK OF BARODA IRRESPESPECTIVE OF CADRE, WHO ARE PRIMARILY A MEMBER OF ALL INDIA BANK OF BARODA KARMACHARI SENA UNION.

BANK OF BARODA SENA WOMENS WING IS AFFILIATED TO BANK OF BARODA KARMACHARI SENA UNION. IT FUNCTIONS AT ALL INDIA LEVEL AND IS OPEN FOR ALL THE LADIES MEMBERS OF KARMACHARI SENA UNION IRRESPECTIVE OF CADRE. ISSUES RELATED TO ANY TYPE OF SEXUAL HARASSMENT OR WORK PLACE HARASSMENT, WHICH NORMALLY COULD NOT BE SHARED.

MRS. MAYA PARANJAPE
(Working President, AIBOBKSENA & President, Women's Wing)
She is an Office Bearer at Bank Karmachari Sena Mahasangh, the Apex level Banking trade union of SHIV SENA to which our AIBOBKS is affiliated.
Her long experience and sincere urge to excel in the field by helping the needy, attracted attention of many young girls and ladies in particular. Her honesty, sincerity, helpful attitude brought her laurels. Her name became unanimous with our SENA.
Over a period of time she groomed quality activists, fully trained them. She equipped them for handling issues independently. This proves her Organising Ability.

She is an Office Bearer at Bank Karmachari Sena Mahasangh too, the Apex level Banking trade union of SHIV SENA to which our AIBOBKS is affiliated.
By her sincere, dedicated and hardworking behaviour she has helped many members.
Her timely learning, observation and grooming skills have always been helpful to all.
She is not only grooming but also motivating other office bearers to perform their tasks independently and in organised and well planned manner.This shows her ability of creating a successful Team.

SUPER se bhi UPAR SUPERANNUATION Of Our President Mrs Maya Paranjape Mam
It is not everyday that we have to say GOODBYE's to our Near & Dear ones.
Yesterday was one of such events. Our beloved Working President of AIBOBKSENA and President of Bank of Baroda Sena Women's Wing , Mrs. Maya Paranjape retired from Manpada Branch after completion of 40 years of celestial & dedicated service in Bank of Baroda.
Considering the impositions of the pandemic, a small felicitation programme was organised at Manpada Branch. Our beloved General Secretary, Mr. Vinod Nikamji, felicitated her and shared how pivotal her role is in the organisation.
ALL WELL THAT ENDS WELL.
Mrs. Maya Paranjape might have retired from the services of the Bank but she will continue to uphold the position in our Union & Womens Wing to give her guidance & vision. -

VISIT OF Mayor of Mumbai Madam Kishori Pednekar
On 5th January, the Mayor of Mumbai Kishori Pednekar visited our Baroda Corporate Centre. All the office bearers of Mahila Sena welcomed Mayor of Mumbai with a flower bouquet. President Mrs Maya Paranjape and General Secretary Deepali Jain thereafter attended the meeting alongwith Top Executives of BCC, General Secretary of AIBOBKSENA Shri Vinod Nikam in the presence of Mumbai Mayor.

International Women's Day
Women Branch Heads were felicitated for their work during LOCKDOWN DAYS. They attended their branches on all working days despite difficulties in travelling. They bravely fought against the abnormal situation. We all are proud of them. They were handed over Specially prepared Certificates + basil plants (तुळशी रोपाची कुंडी).
Sports Women among us were encouraged by presenting the Basil plants to members of Kabaddi and Table Tennis team members.
A large no. of those who were to be honoured could not participate. Their names were mentioned. At later date Union representatives respectfully delivered the Merit Certs to Corona Warriors.
A meaningful emotional song on Women's Progress till date was sung.
Thus the programme began with warm Welcome, electrified by Sri VINOD NIKAM, Charged by Mrs.Maya Paranjape & Mrs Anisha Hirlekar. It honored brave women managers, players. Entertained by DISHA, classic touch was given by MADHUJA.

THE MAIN AIM OF FORMING THE UNIT IS TO RESOLVE THE ISSUES RELATED TO LADIES BY LADIES ONLY, EACH MEMBER IS THE STRENGTH OF THIS WING AND THIS WING IS THE STRENGTH OF EACH MEMBER, JOIN US THEREBY INCREASING THE STRENGTH OF THIS WELFARE UNIT.
